Bloomberg reported that the German car manufacturer Volkswagen plans to launch a low-cost electric car that it claims will be for the general public, through a launch event in Hamburg. The German company used the hashtag "Volkswagen for the People" to promote it during the conference held in Hamburg yesterday. The electric car is expected to closely resemble the "Golf," which is Volkswagen's most successful car, having sold over 35 million units. It is worth noting that the European Union has approved a plan to ban the sale of gasoline-powered cars starting in 2035.
