Jumblatt Discusses the Pivotal Role of the Socialist Party and Its Large Branch in China

The leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, noted that China's sponsorship of the return of Saudi-Iranian relations is a significant achievement in reducing tensions in the Arab East. Jumblatt continued his commentary on the implications of the agreement for the Lebanese situation in his own way, stating: "In the Lebanese interior, it emphasizes the pivotal role of the Socialist Party, which historically has a large branch in China, behind the Great Wall, under the protection of the Chinese lion and under the supervision of the Dragon of the Monotheists."
