Eighteen civilians, including two from army support forces, were killed in three attacks carried out by armed groups in the east-central and northern regions of Burkina Faso, according to the French Press Agency. Local residents told the agency that "terrorist groups attacked the village of Towabin" in the Bougou province (east-central), resulting in the death of "seven civilians." Two other attacks in the Loroum province (north) led to the deaths of four people, including two from the army support forces, while "seven fatalities" occurred in the village of Hargo, according to a local official from the supporting forces.
