Two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters that Tesla CEO Elon Musk intends to visit China in April at the earliest and seeks to meet with Premier Li Qiang. China is Tesla's second-largest market after the United States, and the Tesla factory in Shanghai is the largest production hub for the famous electric vehicle manufacturer. Musk's visit to China will be the first since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and since President Xi Jinping secured a third presidential term.
