Kremlin: Concerned About Unrest in Georgia

The Kremlin expressed its concern today, Thursday, about the unrest in Georgia following violent clashes between police and protesters over two nights due to the country's intention to introduce a bill on "foreign agents," which its opponents claim is similar to a Russian law. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is in no way related to the introduction of the bill. The Georgian government indicated today that it would withdraw the bill from parliament following the protests.
