Mikati: Independence is a Daily Struggle in Every Form

The caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati tweeted: "We all hope that the honorable deputies will cooperate to elect a new president, signaling the beginning of a new phase of recovery and revival. We will also continue our national and constitutional duties, believing that independence is a daily struggle in every form and a conviction stemming from the heart of a person and the core of their being. Happy Independence Day to Lebanon and its people."
