The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre announced that an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale shook Bangladesh today, Friday. The center had previously reported that the earthquake, which occurred 14 kilometers northeast of the capital Dhaka, had a magnitude of 5.2. It added that the earthquake struck at a depth of ten kilometers.
