Casualties in Shooting Near School in Chicago

U.S. authorities announced that two students were killed and others injured in a shooting on Friday near a high school in the West Side of Chicago. Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown revealed in a press conference that the four boys, aged 16, were shot near Benito Juárez High School. A spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department stated that the injured were transported to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead upon arrival, while another boy was in critical condition. Additionally, a boy and a girl sustained injuries and wounds that are not life-threatening.
