Regarding the government's intention for President Najib Mikati to call for a cabinet meeting, Deputy Saji Attieh stated that there is difficulty in convening a session of the Council of Ministers "despite the fact that there are urgent issues, such as the health file, which is an exceptional situation that requires a meeting." He noted that the Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati had previously announced that he would not call for a cabinet meeting without consulting the ministers first. He predicted "flexibility from the Free Patriotic Movement because it cannot stand against the citizens, as there is public pressure that forces it to withdraw from its stance rejecting a cabinet meeting." For his part, Deputy Nazih Matta pointed out that the Strong Lebanon Bloc agrees to convene a cabinet session only in cases of extreme necessity, considering it a caretaker government. He questioned whether there is a necessity to hold a session in this light.
