Russian Foreign Ministry Has Not Received a Response from Syria and Iran Regarding the Quadruple Meeting

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov stated that "so far there has been no response from Syria and Iran regarding the upcoming quadruple meeting between Russia and Turkey in Moscow next week." Previously, Bogdanov announced that efforts were underway to arrange a discreet and quiet meeting involving the foreign ministers of Russia, Syria, Turkey, and Iran, and he mentioned, "We are working on this, and I can tell you that we have agreed not to disclose the details until the time is right; not everything is that simple." Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had announced that the deputy foreign ministers of Russia, Turkey, Syria, and Iran would meet in Moscow next week ahead of scheduled talks among the foreign ministers of the four countries later.
