Turkish Parliamentary Committee Approves Finland's NATO Membership Bid

The Turkish Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee has approved a bill endorsing Finland's attempt to join NATO, as reported by (TRT) news channel today, Thursday. The bill still requires approval from the full parliament. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated last week that the parliament would ratify Finland's accession to NATO, although he postponed approval of Sweden's request.
