Qatar News Agency reported that the Attorney General has ordered the referral of former Finance Minister Ali Sherif Al-Emadi and others to the Criminal Court on charges related to corruption. Al-Emadi and an unknown number of other defendants face accusations of bribery, embezzlement of public funds, abuse of power, misuse of authority, harming public finances, and money laundering.
