Chinese and Russian Foreign Ministers Discuss Ukraine Crisis

The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that the Chinese Premier and his Russian counterpart discussed the Ukraine crisis during a meeting in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, on Thursday. The ministry quoted Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang as saying to his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov that "there is no magic wand to solve the crisis," adding that "China will continue to play a constructive role in enhancing efforts to reach a political settlement and resume peace talks."
