Russia Prevents Two American Bombers from Crossing Its Borders

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Tuesday, that it deployed a fighter jet to prevent two American strategic bombers from crossing into Russian airspace while they were flying over the Baltic Sea. The ministry stated, "The crew of the Russian fighter identified the aerial targets as American B-1B strategic bombers." It added, "The American bombers did not cross the Russian border, and the Russian fighter returned to its base afterward."
