Three people, including an 8-year-old child, were injured today, Saturday, after being struck by gunfire at a wedding in the Riyyan area of the Northern Ghor district, west of Irbid. Witnesses told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the incident occurred when the shooter lost control of his weapon while firing into the air. It was noted that the condition of all the injured is stable after they were taken to Abu Ubaidah Bin Al-Jarrah Public Hospital, and that security authorities are investigating the incident.
