An aid ship carrying relief supplies arrived at the port of Lattakia, northwest of the Syrian capital Damascus, today, Sunday, provided by the UAE Red Crescent. The spokesperson for the UAE Red Crescent, Mohammed Al-Junaibi, noted that the ship is loaded with "1,000 tons" of relief aid, which will be distributed into more than 37,000 parcels. Al-Junaibi mentioned that these supplies will be distributed to those affected by the earthquake in coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
