Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk stated on Thursday that Kyiv is currently testing a missile detection system designed by Israel. He mentioned that "the system, equipped with data from Ukrainian radars, is being tested in the capital." He told Reuters that the system "allows for the identification of various objects, including ballistic missiles, and calculates their trajectory." He added, "This essentially allows us to close specific areas of the country rather than the whole country," referring to the air raid alerts issued during attacks. He noted that when completed, the system will warn residents in areas likely to be hit by missile strikes or Russian drones, either by sounding alarms or sending alerts to mobile phones.
