Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed the Arab League's decision to reinstate Syria's membership, saying: "Although this decision took years to arrive, it is a step in the right direction towards returning to the correct Arab path, which can only be achieved through unity of ranks and words."
