China Supports Resumption of Peace Talks between Israel and Palestinians

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang indicated today that China is very concerned about the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and supports the resumption of peace talks between the two sides as soon as possible. In statements published by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Qin mentioned in separate phone calls with his Israeli and Palestinian counterparts that China is ready to play a constructive role in promoting peace in the region.
