Mawlawi: The Refugee Commission is About to Deliver Data on Syrian Displaced Persons

The Minister of Interior in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, stated that he "informed the Refugee Commission of his position, and they are about to deliver data on the Syrian displaced persons," confirming that "we will not accept granting residency to the Syrian displaced persons in Lebanon." In an interview with "LBCI," he pointed out that "illegal entry makes the number of Syrians much larger," emphasizing the "necessity of the safe return of the displaced to their country."
