US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed to reporters that "the United States and allies will discuss the provision of additional air defense equipment and munitions to Ukraine" during a meeting of defense ministers held in Germany on Friday. Austin noted at the beginning of the meeting that "the allies are committed to supporting Ukraine for as long as it takes and reject what is described as Russian President Vladimir Putin's efforts to create spheres of influence by force."
