NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg clarified on Tuesday that "training Ukrainian pilots to use American-made F-16 fighter jets does not make the alliance a party in the conflict." He added in remarks to reporters, "Ukraine has the right to defend itself... and we are helping it uphold this right."
