The Head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, tweeted about the session to elect the President of the Republic, stating: "If the second round had taken place today as should have been normal, we would now have a President of the Republic. What happened in the Parliament, aside from the details, is a real and effective disruption not just of today's session, but of the presidential elections as a whole."
