Sadness has spread across Jordan following the death of 10-year-old Yahya Al-Nabali, who was bitten by a stray dog in east Amman. Yahya’s family reported that the child was bitten on the head about 30 days ago in the Um Nuwara area of the capital. He was transported by civil defense to Al-Bashir Hospital, where his wounds were treated with antibiotics to prevent rabies, according to statements made to "Al-Arabiya.net." However, the child succumbed a month later to complications from a brain infection caused by the dog attack. Thousands of Jordanians reacted to the news of the child’s death, mourning him on social media with feelings of sadness and grief.
