The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed today, Thursday, that Ottawa is in the process of repatriating 14 Canadians (four women and ten children) from detention camps in northeastern Syria, where foreign women and children are allegedly held due to their association with ISIS. The ministry stated: "Amid reports of deteriorating conditions in the camps in northeastern Syria, we are deeply concerned about the health and well-being of Canadian children." It added: "Today, Canada is repatriating four women and ten children, and we will continue to repatriate citizens as long as conditions allow."
