China's Stance on America: Steady

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang stated on Saturday that China's position on establishing a healthy, stable, and constructive relationship with the United States has not changed, even though it hopes the U.S. will stop using "unprincipled means" to contain and suppress China. During a meeting with representatives of organizations and companies friendly to the United States in Beijing, Qin said, "China hopes that the two countries can work together to enhance bilateral relations to overcome difficulties." He added, "China will continue to provide a better business environment for global companies, including American companies."
