TASS reported that the United Nations is exploring the possibility of regulating space traffic due to increased activity, aiming to adopt unified international rules for space navigation. Maxim Pinkov, an advisor to the director general of the "TsNIIMash" Institute within the Russian space agency Roscosmos, mentioned that issues related to managing traffic in low Earth orbit are a priority on the international space agenda. According to the advisor to the director general of the main scientific research institute in Roscosmos, the intensity of space operations is increasing, as is the number of satellites, which could soon reach several thousand, in addition to the growing volume of space debris.
