UNIFIL: We Have Not Noticed Any Crossings of the Blue Line Recently

The official spokesman for UNIFIL, Andrea Tenenti, stated that they have "taken note of media reports indicating that an individual infiltrated Israel from Lebanon," emphasizing that they "have not observed any crossings of the Blue Line in recent days." In a statement, he pointed out that "the head of the UNIFIL mission and its Force Commander, Major General Aroldo Lazzaro, urges both parties to exercise restraint and maintain stability, and to utilize UNIFIL's mechanisms for coordination and engagement to avoid misunderstandings and reduce tensions." The Israeli army revealed today, Wednesday, that its security forces killed a man suspected of planting a roadside bomb that caused an explosion injuring an Israeli near the West Bank this week, adding that the suspect appeared to be planning to carry out further attacks.
