US Treasury Sanctions Target North Korea

The US Treasury Department announced today, Monday, that it has imposed sanctions on three individuals for allegedly providing support to North Korea through illicit financing and malicious cyber activity. The Treasury's statement identified the individuals as a currency dealer based in China, another based in Hong Kong, and a representative of the North Korean Kwangson Banking Corporation, who has recently relocated to Dandong, China.
