Jordan's "Jopetrol" Offers Fuel Oil Shipment for Loading in May

Sources in the market reported today, Thursday, that the "Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company (Jopetrol)" recently offered high-sulfur fuel oil for loading this month. The company has made 80,000 tons of the product available for loading from Aqaba between May 17 and 19. Market sources indicated that "Jopetrol typically does not offer more than three shipments annually." Data from Refinitiv ship tracking showed that the last time the company loaded fuel oil from Aqaba was in September 2022, heading to Europe.
