The lawyer of Moroccan artist Saad Lamjarred, Frenchman Jean-Marc Fadida, commented on the circulating news about his client’s release from prison in France, on the condition of wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet, and that his passport is held by French authorities. Fadida stated in press remarks: "Saad's case is not over yet," denying the possibility of him returning to prison to complete his sentence. The lawyer revealed that Lamjarred's release from prison was without any conditions or financial bail.
