The Nasdaq index on Wall Street rose on Thursday, as the positive impact of Meta's quarterly report, the parent company of Facebook, outweighed concerns over economic growth slowing in the United States. It gained 287.89 points, or 2.43%, to reach 12,142.24 points. The S&P 500 index closed up 78.75 points, or 1.94%, at 4,134.74 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 525.25 points, or 1.58%, to 33,827.12 points.
