Saudi Trade Minister Majid Al-Qasabi revealed details from the meeting of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman with ministers, encouraging them to utilize the wealth of the Red Sea. In an interview with MBC, Al-Qasabi stated, "I am a sea person and I love the sea, but we were turning our backs to it. I ask Saudis: What do they know about the sea? Few of them know about the Red Sea." He noted that "Bin Salman held workshops for the ministers in the Red Sea, and we were placed in the heart of the sea to experience the true wealth." He emphasized that "all these potentials are a shame; others have a fraction of what we have and are thriving. We have the resources and wealth. We have a magical mix for tourism: the sun, the sea, the islands, the sand, the environment, as well as the generous and hospitable Saudi people."
