Europe Accelerates Arms Shipments to Ukraine

European Union Industry Commissioner Thierry Breton indicated on Sunday that the European Union is accelerating the delivery of weapons to Ukraine in support of the counteroffensive against Russian forces. In an interview with the French daily "Le Parisien," Breton stated, "We will intensify our efforts to deliver weapons and ammunition... This is a war that is escalating, and these weapons play a crucial role in it." He added, "We are preparing for a war that may last several more months or even longer."
