Rosneft, the largest oil production company in Russia, announced today, Friday, that it and the Chinese National Petroleum Corporation have switched to using the ruble and yuan in oil payments. Russia has pushed for the use of national currencies in trade with other countries as part of its efforts to reduce reliance on the euro and dollar.
