He emphasized that "the retention of competent nursing staff in Lebanon is a guarantee for the continuity of healthcare services at a high quality." The meeting concluded with an agreement to discuss this issue with the relevant parties and to consider a minimum wage for nurses based on a flexible rate that reflects changes in the exchange rate.
