Ukrainian forces shelled the city of Melitopol, which is under Russian control, in the southern Zaporizhia region. Russian media reported today, Wednesday, that electricity supplies in the city were disrupted as a result of the shelling. The Russian news agency TASS quoted officials appointed by Moscow in the region as saying that the Ukrainian shelling damaged the city's electricity supply system and caused power outages affecting the city and nearby villages. The agency noted that a train depot was destroyed.
