Ukraine Shells Two Areas on the Belgorod Border

Today, Wednesday, the Governor of the Belgorod region in Russia, Vyacheslav, indicated that Ukraine shelled two residential areas along the border. Gladkov stated, "In Shebekino, shrapnel from artillery shells damaged a car and part of the road. There are outages in the electricity lines. Operational and emergency services are on the site." The Kremlin had previously stated that it was "concerned" about reports of shelling in the Belgorod region, a border area that has repeatedly come under fire from the neighboring Ukrainian Kharkiv region.
