On Thursday, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a royal decree dismissing Saad bin Khader Al-Arabi Al-Harithi, an advisor to the Minister of Interior, from his position. According to "Russia Today," one site reported that the announcement regarding "the dismissal of Dr. Saad bin Khader Al-Arabi Al-Harithi, the former advisor to the Minister of Interior," was made "this Thursday morning, September 22, 2022; however, as of now, the reasons leading to this dismissal have not been disclosed," noting that the decision was "based on a royal order." The site mentioned that Al-Harithi had been "an advisor to the Royal Highness Minister of Interior at the excellent rank for many years, with his tenure dating back to 1996. His time in this position has been extended several times, and he also served as an advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister. Saad has achieved many significant accomplishments during his tenure in this role, and he worked at Riyadh University, where he held numerous important positions, such as being a member of the Faculty of Arts Council at Riyadh University, as well as the head of the Media Department, after previously serving as an assistant head and co-chairman of that college."
