Othman Meets Delegation from the U.S. Embassy

On Friday, General Director of Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, received a delegation from the U.S. Embassy in Lebanon, led by Kelly Yurgan, along with Brian Cullen, Director of Brand Protection at Brown Forman, and company representative Charbel Karam. During the visit, they praised the "role of Internal Security Forces in combating counterfeiting and forgery," particularly after the Financial Crimes and Money Laundering Bureau of the Judicial Police Unit confiscated a large container of alcoholic beverages containing 60,000 bottles of counterfeit alcohol, which was intended to be smuggled out of Lebanon via transit. They also discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation.
