A 6.6 magnitude earthquake occurred at a depth of 100 kilometers in an area near the eastern coast of the Kamchatka region in Russia on Monday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. The U.S. tsunami warning system announced that there was no tsunami warning following the earthquake.
