New York Streets Dangerous for Women

A video revealed an incident of assault and robbery involving a woman in New York City, perpetrated by a group of young men and women. A 46-year-old woman was walking alone on Broadway in the evening when a group of six suspects approached and began punching her, according to the police. The police reported that a group of 10 youngsters robbed the victim after assaulting her and throwing her to the ground. They were able to steal her keys, a pocketbook, and other items. The victim's wallet contained a mobile phone, cash amounting to $25, and bank cards. She suffered injuries and was taken to Woodhull Medical Center, where she was reported in stable condition.
