Russian news agency "Interfax" reported today that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated that "Russia will not disclose any details regarding the nuclear weapons it deploys on the territory of Belarus." Ryabkov noted that "Russia does not intend to inform the United States about its tests of the nuclear-powered underwater drone 'Poseidon,' as it is not covered by current verification agreements." He added, "I have strong doubts that this issue will become a subject of any public discussion or disclosure from our side. The United States has deployed its tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of several European countries for decades and never provides accurate numbers."
