A court in Malta on Sunday charged seven Syrians with encouraging and training others to commit terrorist acts in Europe. They were arrested on Saturday in a coordinated operation with the European police agency (Europol). The group has been accused of being linked to an extremist organization and inciting terrorism through public messages, recruiting or attempting to recruit others to commit terrorist acts, instructing others on the use of explosives and firearms, and attempting to travel to Europe to carry out terrorist acts.
