Miqdad in Tunisia to Rearrange Bilateral Relations

Coming from Algeria, Syrian Foreign Minister and Expatriates Faisal Miqdad arrived in Tunis with a visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. This visit follows last week's agreement to reopen their embassies, after Tunisia cut diplomatic relations with Syria 11 years ago. Miqdad's visit to Tunisia is the fourth in his Arab tour, following Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria, a tour initiated by the head of Syrian diplomacy since the beginning of April, as part of Arab efforts for the return of the Syrian state to the Arab League.
