Bassma Bousil Announces Divorce from Tamer Hosny

The retired Moroccan artist Bassma Bousil officially announced her divorce from artist Tamer Hosny today, Thursday. She wrote on her Instagram story: "And He has placed between you affection and mercy... This is what God says about marriage and divorce. The divorce between Tamer and me has taken place, but we will always have kindness and respect between us. May God write goodness for you and for me. Amen, O Lord." Tamer responded to the news of the divorce: "And He has placed between you affection and mercy, among couples in all their situations, whether they marry or it is not God's will for it to continue; they separate amicably."
