White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby stated today, Thursday, that the United States will continue to work with producers and consumers to ensure the energy market is strengthened for growth following Saudi Arabia's decision to extend oil production cuts. Saudi Arabia has decided to extend a voluntary reduction of oil production by one million barrels per day for an additional month, now covering September, and added that it may increase the reduction or extend the period again.
