A judge in London's High Court acknowledged today, Wednesday, that the trial for the lawsuit filed by Prince Harry against the publisher of the "Daily Mirror" regarding allegations of phone tapping will begin in May. Prince Harry's lawyer, David Sherborne, stated that Harry will be the "sole witness" relied upon in his case. Judge Fancourt believes that Harry "will not accept a settlement" based on what he said in his yet-to-be-published witness statement, as well as "everything he has said outside of court proceedings." Harry's case against the "Mirror" group, filed in 2019, is one of several lawsuits he has brought against British newspapers, including a similar lawsuit against News Group Newspapers, which publishes the now-defunct "News of the World" and "The Sun."
