In related news, UK Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick stated today that "net migration to the UK is expected to decrease to pre-pandemic levels in the medium term after reaching record highs in 2022." Jenrick added, "With the easing of temporary factors such as our exceptional humanitarian offers, we expect net migration to fall to pre-pandemic levels in the medium term."
