Cancellation of Flights at Geneva Airport Amid Staff Strike Extension

Air traffic at Geneva Airport was disrupted today, Friday, with the cancellation of 64 arrival and departure flights as public service employees announced a strike over wages. They plan to continue their protest until tomorrow, Saturday. Union Secretary Jamshid Boranbir stated, "Of course, this is unfortunate, but we have asked passengers to direct their anger towards the airport management responsible for this chaos." Around a hundred employees stood in front of the departure area at the airport to protest the wage policy approved by the airport's board to freeze any increases.
